API plans — FAQ
What is a credit?
One credit equals one standard API request. Some endpoints cost more based on the data returned: a full LinkedIn profile with every field group is 9 credits, and heavy batch endpoints have their own rates. Every endpoint's cost is listed in the docs.
Do unused credits expire?
Plan credits reset monthly with your billing cycle. Pay-as-you-go top-up credits roll over for 12 months.
Can I buy more credits?
Yes — pay-as-you-go top-ups cost $2.90 per 1K credits, with a $20 minimum and an active subscription. Top-ups roll over for 12 months.
Are credits shared between REST, CLI and n8n?
Yes. One balance covers every interface — REST API, CLI pipelines and n8n nodes all draw from the same credits.
Is there a free trial?
The Starter plan includes a 7-day free trial with 1,000 credits — no credit card required to start.
What are the rate limits?
They scale with the plan: 60 req/min on Starter, 90 on Growth, 150 on Scale and 200 on Pro and Enterprise. Custom contracts come with custom rate limits.
Can I switch plans?
Anytime — upgrades and downgrades are prorated and apply immediately.
When should I pick the API line instead of an MCP plan?
Pick the API line when you are building systems: products on our data, parallel scripts, scheduled pipelines, CRM integrations. If you work inside an AI tool with an agent, the MCP plans are simpler — no credits to think about.
